Marina Sanchez del Villar is a Ph.D. candidate in economics at the European University Institute, where she studies how technology and innovation affect the financial markets using industrial organization tools. In 2022 she was a Ph.D. Fellow at the Bank for International Settlements, where she contributed to the work of the Innovation and Digital Economy Unit and the Innovation Hub.

Olivier Scaillet, Belgo-Swiss is professor of finance and statistics at the Geneva Finance Research Institute of the University of Geneva, and has a senior chair at the Swiss Finance Institute. His research expertise is in the area of derivatives pricing, econometric theory and econometrics applied to finance and insurance. He has published several papers in top journals in econometrics and finance. He is an elected fellow of SoFiE, IAEE, and IMS.

Ibolya Schindele is Senior Lecturer at the Department of Business and Economics of CEU and associated researcher at the Financial System Analysis Directorate of the Central Bank of Hungary. In the past, she taught subjects in Finance and Economics at BI Norwegian Business School, EDHEC Business School, Toulouse Business School, and the University of Vienna. She obtained her Ph.D. from the University of Amsterdam. Her academic research interests are in banking and financial intermediation.

Klaus Schmidt-Hebbel is an international consultant, advisor, and public speaker. He is Professor of Economics at Universidad del Desarrollo. Dr. Schmidt-Hebbel held the position of Chief Economist of the Organisation of Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and Director of the OECD Economics Department in Paris in 2008-2009. Mr. Schmidt-Hebbel holds a PhD in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a BA and a MA in Economics from the Catholic University of Chile.
