Antonio Cabrales has a Ph.D. in Economics from UCSD, and a professor at UC3M. He has been a professor at UCL, and at UPF. He is Executive Vice President of the European Economic Association, fellow of the Econometric Society, former President of the Spanish Economic Association and prize King Rei Jaume I of Economics 2021. He has worked in a wide range of topics: game theory, the economics of networks, mechanism design, economics of education, experimental and behavioral economics.

Bruno Caprettini is Assistant Professor at the University of St Gallen, where he is affiliated with the Swiss Institute for International Economics and Applied Economic Research (SIAW). He holds a PhD from Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona) and before joining St Gallen he was SNSF Ambizione Fellow at the University of Zurich. Lucas Conwell is a development and spatial economist whose research focuses on informal urban institutions in developing countries as well as the government role in infrastructure provision. In ongoing work, he studies the efficiency of the minibus systems which provide most urban transport in African cities as well as the car orientation of US and European cities. This fall, he will join University College London as a Lecturer in Economics.
