My research interests lie in the broader field of Macroeconomics. I am currently studying the impact of monetary and fiscal shocks on economic expectations and macro outcomes. I have worked on international price differences and economic integration, focusing on real factors such as trade costs, productivity and migration. I have also worked on economic growth, focusing on the role played by R&D, the diffusion of ideas and technologies as well as inefficiencies arising from talent misallocation

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at Trinity College Dublin. I obtained a PhD in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in March 2022. My research explores causes and consequences of inequality in education, labour market, and political bodies, drawing insights from Psychology and Sociology to provide evidence-based suggestions for policy.

Prof. Yanren Zhang received his PhD in Economics from the University of Aberdeen, King’s College (UK) in 2013. Yanren’s research focuses on applied game theory, behavioral contract theory and development economics, with particular interests in (1) firm innovation and inventor mobility, (2) dynastic management in family firms, (3) self-serving belief and workaholic behavior, (4) labor mobility and regional integration, and (5) myth building and state capacity in quantitative economic history.

Dr Dan Zhu is an Associate Professor at the Department of Econometrics and Business Statistics, Monash University. She studied a PhD in Financial Mathematics and Actuarial Science in the Economics department, University of Melbourne. Dr Dan Zhu's research interests include numerical methods for sensitivity analysis, financial mathematics, optimization of stochastic dynamical systems, and Bayesian analysis.
