Carlos Daniel Santos

Lisbon School of Economics and Management

Main interests: productivity, industry dynamics, customer markets, data science, and industrial organization. His work has been published in leading journals such as The Economic Journal, The Journal of Business & Economic Statistics, and Regional Science and Urban Economics. Holds a PhD from LSE and was previously at the Universities of Alicante, Tilburg and a Faculty Fellow at MIT. His work has received several awards such as the EARIE Young Economist and ZEW Heinz Konig Young Scholar Award.

Julius Schoelkopf

Julius is a PhD Student in Econometrics at Heidelberg University, interested in Macroeconometrics and Financial Econometrics, especially applying time series methods for business cycle, monetary policy, and financial markets analysis. He has completed PhD courses and a Master of Science in Economics at the University of Mannheim. During his studies, he completed an exchange semester at the University of Zurich and gained work experience as an Intern at the Bundesbank.
